Rent takes the throne to the purchase: more than sale lease transactions are signed

For years in our country trading operations have been the Kings of the market. However, after the bursting of the real estate crisis, the panorama has changed to forcefully break rental. As regards the total Park homes in Spain, in 2016 the weight of the car was 23% of the total, while the weight of the housing on property was 77%, according to Eurostat data. The study anticipates notes that the structure of the main dwelling in Spain is determined, mainly, by the age of the population. Data of 2017 indicate that most of the major housing ownership are in hands of people older than 65 years (89.4%), while the 38.1% persons between 18 and 39 years old living in rental basis.

Prices will continue to rise

For 2018-2019 second-hand and new housing price will rise by 6.3% year on year, representing a slowdown with respect to 2017, when dwellings are made 7.2%. By the end of 2019, the housing price will be still 15% below the highs recorded in 2007.
